Good Food at Ballygrant Inn & Restaurant
The Inn enjoys a good reputation for good quality homemade food. We use the best in local and Scottish produce. A variety of dishes created from Islay Beef, Lamb and Venison and local Scallops, Crab, Lobster and Langoustine from the surrounding waters along with the best quality fruit and vegetable feature regularly on our menu’s.
As well as a menu offering the finest local and Scottish produce we also have a selection of fine wines from around the world. Evening meals are served from 6.00pm – 8.30pm. We also serve lunches in our whisky bar and coffees teas and home baking throughout the day.
We use no frozen or ready prepared foods in our kitchen. All dishes are prepared fresh daily or are cooked to order. We bake our own soda bread and a selection of home baking. All dishes are simply prepared and attractively presented to enable the best Islay and Scottish flavours and tastes to be enjoyed.
Once a month we hold our famous speciality Indian Buffet and buffet nights that are very popular with locals and regular guests. On a Thursday evening we also run a weekly curry night with a curry and a pint for £14.00.
We also offer a Whisky and Food paring menu where you can enjoy a four course meal using the best Islay ingredients matched with four Islay whiskies. This is available all year round but must be booked in advance.
